At Mota Sport, your satisfaction is everything. We want you to love your purchase! If you’re not satisfied, we’re here to assist with easy returns, exchanges, and refunds. Please carefully read our policy. For certain specialty or custom products, specific return conditions may apply and will be outlined on the respective product page.

Returns for Refund

You can return items for a full refund within 30 days of receiving your order, provided the following conditions are met:

The item is unworn, unused, and in original condition
The item is in its original packaging
Original tags must still be attached
You provide proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt)

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned under any circumstances, unless they arrive damaged or defective:

Sale items
Gift cards
Perishable goods (e.g. food, flowers, plants)
Custom or personalized products
Personal care items (e.g. beauty products)
Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases

How to Return

Starting a return is simple. Follow the steps below and our team will guide you through the rest. Important: you must contact us for approval before sending any item back — returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted.

Request a Return & Receive Your RMA

Email us at [email protected] with your order number, the item(s) you’d like to return, and the reason. If approved, we will issue a Return Authorization Number (RMA). We respond within 24 hours, Mon–Sat.

Send the Item Back

Ship the item to the return address provided in your approval email. Customer covers return shipping costs except in cases of defective or incorrect items. Include your RMA number with the shipment.

Pack Securely with All Tags & Packaging

Pack the item in its original packaging with all tags still attached. We recommend using a tracked shipping service — Mota Sport is not responsible for return packages lost in transit.

Inspection & Resolution

Once we receive your return, we’ll inspect the item to ensure it meets all return conditions. If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Still waiting? If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved, please contact us at [email protected] and we’ll investigate immediately.

Refunds may be denied or delayed if the item does not meet return conditions, or if the return is initiated after the 30-day window. If paid via PayPal, the refund will appear in your PayPal balance first.

Exchanges & Size Swaps

We offer exchanges for size, color, or the same item, subject to availability. Contact us within 30 days of delivery to request a swap.

Send the Original Item Back

Customer covers return shipping costs for exchanges. Pack the item securely with original tags and packaging and ship it to the address provided.

Replacement Dispatched After Inspection

Once the returned item is received and inspected, we will ship your replacement as quickly as possible. Exchanges are not processed until the original item has been received and approved.

Size Guide Tip: Before ordering a replacement size, check our product page size chart to find your perfect fit. If the requested item is out of stock, we’ll offer a full refund or store credit — the choice is always yours.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item is damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us at [email protected] within 7 days of delivery and include:

We cover everything. Do not return the item until we have confirmed the issue. Once verified, Mota Sport will arrange a free replacement or full refund, including return shipping — whichever you prefer.

Return Shipping Costs

Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to a defective or incorrect item sent by us. Here’s a clear breakdown:

We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping method for your return. Mota Sport cannot be held responsible for return packages that are lost in transit. Please keep your tracking number until the return is confirmed.

European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off

If your order is shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without justification.

Returned items under the EU cooling-off period must still meet the following conditions:

Item is unworn and unused
Original tags are attached
Item is in its original packaging
Proof of purchase is included

EU customers: Please contact us to initiate your return under the cooling-off period. Standard return conditions regarding item condition still apply.

Unauthorized Returns & Change of Mind

Prior Approval Required: Any items returned without prior approval will not be accepted or processed. Please always contact us first and wait for your RMA number before shipping anything back.

Mota Sport reserves the right to decline any return that does not comply with this policy. We will notify you by email if your return is refused and will arrange to send the item back to you.

Late Returns: Returns initiated after 30 days of delivery will not be accepted. We strictly observe this window to keep our operations fair for all customers. If you’re approaching the deadline, please contact us as soon as possible.

International Returns: International customers are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and return shipping costs unless the return is due to a defective or incorrect item. Please mark return packages clearly as “Returned Merchandise” to help avoid customs issues.
